Please contact us if you have any questions about our goods and services, or if you’d like us to try to find something for you. We’re here to help!


We charge shipping at cost and all parcels will be delivered by Australia Post. The shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and will be dependent on the weight and dimensions of your parcel.

We have chosen to do this so that you the customer can see exactly what you are paying for. We don’t offer free shipping and then inflate the costs of our yarn.

Delivery times will be dependent on your location and the postal option selected.

The Purl Box does not provide cover or take responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit.


We aim to have your yarn and other goodies posted to you within 2 business days of receiving your order. You’ll receive an email confirmation from us letting you know that your lovely stuff is on the way.

If you see an item that you’d like that is listed as out of stock – or if you are after a different range from the brands we carry – please do contact us and we will do all we can to accommodate your wishes.


The Purl Box will charge Australian customers GST on all orders. The prices listed on our website are inclusive of GST. For international customers, the GST will be removed at checkout.


All payments will be processed via our Eway, our secure payment gateway. If you’d like to pay via a different method, such as direct deposit or bank cheque - please don’t hesitate to contact us. Payment must be received by The Purl Box before goods can be sent to you.

Refunds and returns

If you wish to exchange goods or obtain a refund for your items you must contact The Purl Box within 7 days of receipt of your goods to let us know. Patterns, books, magazines, gift vouchers and sale items will not be exchanged.

Faulty or wrongly supplied goods will be exchanged or refunded and postage will be at The Purl Box’s expense.  We will not refund or exchange simply for change of mind. Any yarn returned to us must be in its original condition and unwound with its original packaging.

Please note that due to the hand-dyeing process – colour differences within dye-lots will not be considered to be a fault in the yarn. We will do our best to supply skeins within a batch and matching as much as possible wherever possible – so please let us know if this is what you need.

Please also be aware that different monitors may display colours differently. We will not accept returns or refund moneys if the colour is not what you expected.
