When exciting young knitting pattern designer Lily Kate France teamed up with Fyberspates (a brand we have carried since the very beginning of The Purl Box) to produce her own range of yarn, we knew it would be amazing - and it is!
Beautiful soft worsted weight yarn made of 90% merino/10% undyed alpaca in a thoughtful range of 12 complementary colours (we love the colour names based on an astronomy/maths/physics theme).

Being a versatile worsted weight, the yarn would work beautifully for many other patterns using this gauge too. Baleen, the new jumper pattern from Softsweater, is calling my name. I just need to choose a colour!
